Google misses a very vital date again. On this day, the Greatest Generation's husbands, sons, uncles and brothers made the ultimate effort. They scaled steep mountains against unrelenting German gunfire and artillery barrages and pushed forward onto the beaches of Normandy. Google today, shows no kind of reference to this sacrifice made 66 years ago.

Google focuses on stupid video games and artists celebrating their birthdays. If it weren't for these people, there wouldn't possibly be a Google or a modern way of life. Let alone a damn artists to spew their vile artist efforts. Today on this day, please take a moment to remember that today is the day started the greatest invasion of Europe to break the back of Hitler's conquest of the European continent.

Google's search homepage is plastered with some dumbass irrelevant artist rather than giving the honor and memoriam to those brave souls that came before us.

Above is a video of what the Pont du Hoc and invasion beaches look like today.
