I’ve been thinking of taking up a hobby or new recreational activity since the majority of my spare time is spent sitting around. The paunch of my gut has beckoned me to give skateboarding a try once more. However, with all of the new skate shoes out there it seems to be a very daunting task to pick a set of shoes for a man of my size and limited ability.
My son has a pair but those that I brought him were Nike SB shoes, and they were really nice, especially for a child his age. He’s 10, and every time the sun shines he goads me into taking him to the local park. Not a skate park but a park that is really secluded and has nice flat pavement for either biking, rollerblading, and of course his favorite, skateboarding. Pictures will come soon, and yes they will include some shots or video of me twisting an ankle, bruising a knee or the proverbial shin splints.
With this new attitude for purchasing a quality set of skate shoes, I will need more factual and up to date information. Do I go for top quality like Osiris skate shoes or do I settle for the cool factor with a set of Vans skate shoes? The choices and selection of course are mine and mine alone, so I have to make the right choice.
